Stadacona is a stunning wedding venue, with the amazing views of the city and the charm of the decor. Catherine and Adam both come from large families so there was a lot of love at this wedding. I think a large percentage of the guests were a relative of either the bride or groom. Cat and Adam are starting a family of their own, and are fantastic parents to little sweet Lana, who was a big part of the celebration.

Adam looked very dapper of course, but Cat really stole the show in her amazing dress, and veil. She was gorgeous!

I’ve loved all my weddings this year so far, and I can’t wait for the ones to come! Thanks to Kristyn Smith for second shooting this one with me.

Next time you have your car in for service look around the room, your soul mate could be there. That’s how Crystal and Jason met, and they’ve spent the last two years in love and traveling the world. Anyone who knows me, knows just how much I love to travel, but these guys definitely have me beat! They have explored so many places, in such a short time…. Hong Kong, Italy, Greece, Thailand, all over the US and Canada…just to name a few!

Crystal and Jason were surrounded by friends and family, and had a beautiful wedding! Crystal’s father reminded Jason that Crystal was ‘on loan’ !

Cat and Adam will be walking down the aisle in two weeks, and I can’t wait! Not only are they coming together as a couple, they will be bringing their family together. Their little princess Lana will play a big part in the celebration, and will probably steal the show, she’s just that adorable.

We hit up Point Pleasant Park last week to get a few snaps before the wedding. Adam and Cat are camera ready, they have an easy way about them, and I’m sure their day will be perfect.

Cat seriously has the most beautiful eyes!

The Cowboy and the Princess | Halifax Wedding Photographer

When Rochelle and Jacob met they lived on opposite sides of the country, but that didn’t stop them from falling in love! It didn’t take Rochelle long to pack her things and join her cowboy in Edson, Alberta. If you have never heard of Edson before, I would say you are definitely not alone! With a population under ten thousand people, I’m sure it was a change of pace, and her hobbies have definitely changed. Having now met many of it’s residence, it seems like a place filled with fun and wonderful people.

Rochelle really played the role of a princess on her wedding day, her gown was huge and gorgeous! The light snow that fell during pictures was absolutely beautiful. Jake and Rochelle were troopers braving the chilly wind, and freezing temperatures to get some awesome photos.

Destination Wedding | Jason and Jennifer

Being in Cuba for a wedding is the best way to start off the wedding season with a bang. I’m more excited than ever to dive right in.

Jason and Jennifer are one of those sweet fun couples that are easy to love, that was even more obvious when we arrived in Cuba at the Ocean Varadero El Patriarca with over 40 guests! The group was filled with awesome people, and it was a pleasure to spend the week with all of you! Not to mention it was a good looking bunch of people! Jennifer made a stunning bride, and her dress was perfection!

Of course I love shooting destination weddings, you get a whole new wedding experience and Cuba definitely provided us with that. We also headed in to Havana (more on the blog to come), and got to experience a bit of the culture. Jennifer was up for anything, and Jason didn’t complain even once (not loud enough that I heard anyway), which is pretty good because I drug them around in the heat, and literally made him carry Jenn all around town!

There were some questions as to whether or not there would be a best man speech – photo evidence included that it did happen, good job Chris, third time’s a charm. I didn’t get to see any Ninja Wendy moves, but the joke definitely carried through the week.

I want to thank Adam who got to come on this adventure with me, it was good to put him through the paces, and let him know exactly what I’m doing all those Saturdays throughout the year, and how much I love it.

Anyone who doesn’t think teachers can party hasn’t met this crew! :) I’m sure this will be a wedding people will talk about for awhile. Adam and I were happy to be there and make a few new buds along the way.

These two are long time lovebirds, but I wish you many more years of marital bliss.

Miss K | Hot Halifax Boudoir

Have you heard the expression 40 is the new 20? Miss K is their spokesperson! Holy heck, this girl is hot for any age!

I loved having Miss K in the studio, and probably could have photographed her all day, and would have if she wasn’t heading to the GYM after her shoot. Now that’s dedication!
